The Only Asian Bowler in EBT Masters 2011

16th Asian Games Gold and Silver medallist Cherie Tan will be competing in the EBT Masters 2011 from 11 - 12 April 2011 in Bowling Centre Gladiator Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which will be held after Qubica/AMF Open 2011.

 Cherie who is currently on an overseas exchange programme will be the only Asian bowler in the EBT Masters 2011. She took over the spot from Priscialla Maaswinkel from The Netherlands who unfortunately had to skip her spot due to a change in her examination date and completed the female division as the 16th female competing bowler.

Cherie is no stranger to competing against european bowlers with her various past achievements which include her coming in third in the Brunswick Ballmaster Open 2010.

She was awarded the SBF Bowler of the Year 2009 for her outstanding bowling achievements, particularly where she led the team to winning the first Team Bronze medal in the 2009 World Women Bowling Championship for Singapore.

This will be Cherie's first bowling competition after the 16th Asian Games last November and let's wish her all the best.
