Corporates Join Hands In Support of Earth Hour 2011 on the Lanes

It was nothing but fun and enjoyment for the participants in the FIRST Leisure series of the Canon SuperSeries 3 (2011). Introduced by SingaporeBowling for the first time in this corporate bowling event to provide another avenue for leisure bowlers to bowl solely for pleasure, it also encourages more companies to sign up more teams.

In support of Earth Hour 2011, participants bowled in dim lightings at Orchid Bowl, The Chevrons and also took part in the various fringe activities organised during the fun bowl. In addition, participants also learned about the various innovative business sustainability solutions offered by Canon Singapore for corporates which helps in environment conservation and the ongoing efforts undertaken by Canon regionally to support Earth Hour 2011.

Organised jointly by Canon Singapore and SingaporeBowling, the leisure series will be held over 4 rounds and the competitive series will be held twice to continue to cater to the more serious and competitive bowlers.
